A loss for words

They say that time flies when you are having fun. It also flies when you are not. Time flies all the time. I run an in-home daycare and this first month of summer has been a whirlwind of new kids in care, one a special needs preschooler, and older kids returning after a year in kindergarten. Now I have 8 kids running around making time fly. Even if I am not having fun, they are, so if time flies it’s all their fault.

Don’t get me wrong, I love it when they make time fly! I am counting the days till school starts again. I figure that if I make their days as fun as possible, then Sept. 5th will come sooner. Well, at least that’s the plan. With all this kid mess and chaos, I find such little time to gather my thoughts to write. I miss the daily prompt that would make me feel guilty for not writing. I miss that email glaring at me in challenge.

As my summer flies by, I will try to catch time to find some words even if there is no daily prompt to push me.

Blessings
